Complinist Documentation
Welcome to the Complinist documentation. Complinist turns your infrastructure into ATO-ready NIST documentation automatically.
What is Complinist?
Complinist is a local compliance tool (Docker) that helps you:
- Visually model your system architecture with drag-and-drop tools
- Import Terraform plans to auto-generate network diagrams
- Generate SSPs (System Security Plans) compliant with NIST 800-53
- Create control narratives with the built-in editor
- Track device inventory including hardware and software
- Export documentation ready for ATO reviews
Run docker pull ghcr.io/stihelc/complinist-lite:lite and open http://localhost:3000. All processing runs 100% locally on your machine—your sensitive compliance data never leaves your machine.
